CYMBELINE

«Fear no more the heat o’ the sun, Nor the furious winter’s rages». A conservative para-graphic redesign of one of the first affiches of the Tragedy’s play. From the material collected and the different editorial publications analyzed here’s now, in a poster format, as a gift to a dear one, in a modern and present layout, contaminated by my personal visual taste and a playful couple of custom ornamental dividers.

«Not to money not to love nor to the sky» is a visual reinterpretation of the original vinyl’s cover from the 1971 of Fabrizio De André’s masterpiece. Shaped like a map, it unfolds like poppy flowers’ leaves, leaving a trace in your heart while guiding your emotions through the sharp words of each song.

SKINS

An editorial piece, crafted to trace a path experimenting new paper treatments. Using trees’ bark as embossing matrix, the obtained pattern samples were selected to explore a new physical and tactile way of communicating the natural’s ecosystems in our cities. The final goal is also to reconnect to the source: the paper to the tree.

A one-week challenge to produce a demo of a modular mono-spaced typeface based on physical street elements: in this case the connecting point of welded pipes and the intersection between other construction materials was the detail that was brought to a digital typeface.
